Using Dropbox

A bash script for automating uploads can be found at:

http://www.andreafabrizi.it/?dropbox_uploader

The name of the script is:

dropbox_uploader.sh

and an appropriate usage is:

dropbox_uploader.sh -u username -p password -f README -d /Public -v

where:

• -u is the Dropbox username;
• -p is the Dropbox password;
• -f is the name of the file or folder to be uploaded;
• -d is the name of the remote Dropbox folder into which the local files are to be uploaded, e.g. /Public for the Public directory; and
• -v is a verbose mode that tells you about each step as it happens.
