Following are links to information pertaining
to information and programs pertaining to simulated annealing.
- Lester Ingber's
Adaptive Simulated Annealing (ASA) directory contains the
latest program version (180 Kb or so) as well as several papers
on applications, one of which is
Simulated annealing: Practice versus theory (190 Kb compressed
PostScript).
- Richard Frost at the San Diego Supercomputing Center has put
together a package called
EBSA (Ensembled Based Simulated Annealing) for research into
S.A. and its applications in stochastic optimization. A
user's manual (260 Kb PostScript) is available as well as
source code and binaries for quite a few
different machines.
- A Fortran implementation of a simulated annealing algorithm,
simman.f, was coded by Bill Goffe. There are details about
the program and references contained within the source code.
